Description

CHE 320 Organic Chemistry 1 (f)
Prerequisite: CHE 212, with a grade of C or better
Corequisite: CHE 321 Organic Chemistry 1 Laboratory
Presents the foundations of organic chemistry including
structure, bonding, conformations, stereochemistry,
thermodynamics, kinetics and reactivity, including acidbase
and nucleophilic substitution reactions. Includes mass
spectrometry and UV-visible, infared, and nuclear magnetic
resonance spectroscopy. 3 credits
